Seldia Briefing

Seldia BriefingCHANGE OF NAME FOR FEDSA ... NOW SELDIA

On 10 May 2011, FEDSA’s General Assembly unanimously adopted a new name and visual identity when   ‘FEDSA’ became ‘Seldia –The European Direct Selling Association.’

The new Seldia logo shown here is made up of 5 corporate colours blue, red, purple, green and orange. The name was reached by taking some of the letters from ‘direct’, ‘selling’ and ‘association’ then converting into a brand name. The aim of this change was to introduce freshness and newness into the direct selling world by changing the image of the current organisation into a modern and proactive association.

Seldia has also restructured internally by creating a more balanced decision-making organisation with greater representation in the outside world, which will benefit both Direct Selling Associations and associated member companies.

The change of name is a logical action reflecting the change in structure. “The previous name did not do justice to the important renewal of the organisation.  We have taken the opportunity to launch a new name and identity that is modern, dynamic and more in sync with the new generations involved in direct selling” said Noelia Souque Caldato. E.U. Regulatory Affairs Advisor.

“The new visual identity will also be visible on our new website that will be launched in the coming weeks. The new website will reflect our new identity to better advocate the positions of the Direct Selling Industry in Brussels and abroad,” she added.
