MARY KAY cosmetics launched a ‘POP UP’ shop in Cardiff on June 24th for two days, to promote the company brand. The Event which was completely free to all visitors created a huge interest in the city. The objective of initiative to increase brand awareness and was planned for visitors to experience the uniqueness of Mary Kay’s products. The Company installed virtual make up computer stations and also had professional makeup artists in the shop so that visitors could see, learn and experiment with the latest products from the range. The products were not available for sale on the day, although could be purchased online.

AVON Reunion

A reunion of 400 employees past and present was held at the Hotel Elizabeth in Corby Northants on Saturday 18th June. The event was organised by John Howden, who works in the Shipping Dept and was a huge success. Former Employees travelled from South Africa, Spain and from all over the UK to be present.  Another event is planned for next year!

Barefoot Books Now in Oxford!

Barefoot Books, the award-winning children’s publisher known for its imaginative and colorful multi-cultural books that spark children’s imaginations, has moved its UK office from Bath to 294 Banbury Road, Oxford as it prepares for growth of its Ambassador program—its independent direct sales opportunity. Now located in the heart of Summertown, Oxford, Barefoot Books is hiring a team to grow its Ambassador programme as the company has seen increased demand for its books and direct sales opportunities as Mums and Dads seek ways to earn extra income for their families doing what they love to do—being with their children and discovering great books for them.

This Autumn, Barefoot Books is planning to open a community centre in Oxford, called the Barefoot Books Studio, where families can come to experience an exciting array of multi-cultural events and programs daily, including yoga, dance, music, story times, food and cooking, puppetry and more, all part of Bare foot’s mission to help families raise happy, healthy children. The Studio will bring Barefoot’s books to life and enable families and direct sellers to connect with each other and share dynamic parenting and family experiences.
