Editor’s Note…
Dear Readers,
Welcome to our July edition and what will be the final hard copy format of Direct Selling News Europe.
As you will see from the notice on the facing page, the increasing demand for our magazine around the world along with more electronic access, leads us to believe we can better serve our wider audience by providing online access rather than continuing to rely on postal distribution of hard copies.
The magazine will remain as a bi-monthly publication and will be in a digital page turning format online from September. Obviously it will still be dedicated to direct sales news from around Europe, with the same type of articles and features, and written by the same journalists who have made our publications so popular.
However it is important that this remains YOUR magazine and we will still rely on your imput of your comapnay storties, news and information you would like us to publish on your behalf.
Each time a new edition is posted online, you will receive an e-mail to notify you and ask you to access each edition on http://www.directsellingnews.com. Once in the site simply click on ‘Europe’ for the latest magazine and on this site you may also access the US edition if that is of interest to you, and simply browse at your leisure. Our advertisers will still be able to place their adverts in the electronic version.
Launching soon will be the new global website which will also contain a link to our European edition. So technology takes us into a new era and I would personally like to express my personal and grateful thanks to all our readers and advertisers who have supported us so strongly over the last couple of years and who have helped to make our magazine such a huge success.
Chris Vernon and I will be moving on to pastures new but will be keeping a keen interest in the progress of this new format. Kathy Slater will continue to work with the journalists and source the articles, news and events from around Europe to input into the online version.
In this final hard copy edition of July, we feature the emerging markets of Croatia and Slovenia both of which have embraced direct selling with many success stories from the companies operating there.
Our Company Spotlight falls on Lifecare and their successful progress while our Top Desk features Bob Parker from Forever Living.
It is another edition full of tips, news and articles to set you thinking. So enjoy your read don’t forget to go online for our next edition in September.
