With huge teams, ever increasing targets and the need to communicate messages which will not only be received but also acted upon the need to reach your people in effective ways is not only important, it is crucial.
This is where PSP Group can help by ensuring, often through technology, that you can be there all the time.
PSP goes one step further by offering tools that save costs, ensure compliance and drive revenues.
Joe Quilter, Principal Consultant, said, “We offer a whole stream of solutions from fully managed ‘live’ community Web sites including a suite of communication tools, such as SMS messaging, through to 1-2-1 presentations to prequalify potential direct sellers into a team. We do this by listening to our customers — we like to get to know them as well as our neighbours.”
But what PSP offers doesn’t stop there; as featured in recent editions of Direct Selling News Europe, the Group are also involved with the UK DSA Sales Academy.
PSP offer a whole range of e-learning services to ensure direct sellers receive the training they need to help them grow a successful business. Whether the training is based on selling skills or giving information on the product range, e-learning ensures they have this information when they need it, day or night, so you CAN be there all the time.
hey can also provide management tools so that member organisations and sponsors know who has undertaken the training.
Sue Etchells, Account Manager, who has worked in the sector for many years said, “PSP always stays at the forefront of technology. We are now in our third year as sponsors of the International e-learning Awards. Joe Quilter is also Chair of Judges for a team of over 20 eminent judges from across a wide range of businesses.
By being part of the awards, we stay on top of the wave of new technology and, more importantly, share new ideas and approaches with our clients.”
In support of DSA member organisations, PSP Group also provides a ticketing system for events so that bookings can be taken seamlessly online and through customer
call centres. They have also introduced a compliance database system to support member organisations adhere to new regulations.
Bob Parker, Managing Director of Forever Living Products in UK, Ireland and Iceland, said of PSP: “Having workedin the direct selling industry for many years I know the difference between suppliers and partners — PSP Group, without a doubt, are partners. They have helped us to achieve outstanding results, and they are now very much part of what we do as a business – to communicate more effectively and regularly with our Distributors, customers and staff.
“One example of how PSP helped us is the need for Distributors to have business tools to communicate.
The iPhone was seen as an exceptional tool to help Distributors do this on the move. PSP, through its channels, negotiated an exclusive deal with O2, and now iPhones are available to order through our community Web site, FOREVERknowledge. They also come with their own branded Forever backs, which the Distributors absolutely love.”
Through their educational background, PSP Group is now supporting many other DSA member organisations, such as Amway, Arbonne, Kleeneze, Pampered Chef and Avon.
Through the DSA Sales Academy, member organisations will soon be able to offer the opportunity to direct sellers to be ‘Accredited Qualifi ed Direct Sellers’ — a fi rst for the industry and a step forward. E-learning to cover the legal aspects will also be an important part of this approach.
At a recent UK DSA Council meeting, the PSP Group was also given the backing to achieve its own sector specific Qualifications Awarding Body status. This will mean, as a sector, they can be in control of the qualifi cations on offer, as well as set up Qualifi cations Academies directly intomember organisations alongside the DSA Sales Academy.
Recognising their involvement in the sector, Jamie Stewart, MD of Kleeneze, invited Joe Quilter to be the Head Judge for the 2010 UK DSA Awards. On receiving the news, Joe Quilter said, “The DSA Awards are seen as the most prestigious recognition of excellence in our sector, and I’m honoured to be involved.
The DSA Awards 2010 are taking on a new shape, with Awards being judged against a set of standard criteria and grading scales. In addition, the judging panel will be taken from leading people in and out of the direct selling industry. Finally, and importantly, shortlisted entries for this year will be required to make a presentation for most categories.
“To be a 2010 DSA Award Winner will mean that entries have been rigorously assessed and demonstrated excellence in their submission and presentation — an award that acknowledges a positive contribution to the sector.”
So through technology, communication, software innovations, education and recognition through awards, the PSP’s motto is to help its customers at all times.
Importantly, PSP believe demonstration is far more powerful than declaration, so they always prefer to meet potential new partners.
