The Last Word on the ASBAH ‘Kindness Campaign’

The Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (ASBAH) needs the help of the readers of Direct Selling News Europe. We are appealing for donations of any unwanted computing equipment.
ASBAH has launched its latest ‘Kindness Campaign’ and we’re looking for good-hearted people from the world of direct selling to help enhance the service and operations we provide to individuals and families facing the challenges arising from spina bifida and hydrocephalus. We know that direct selling is based on business relationships and strong family values, so we feel there could be a strong affinity between us.
Established in 1966, ASBAH has now grown into a community of 75,000 individuals, families, friends and professionals sharing achievements, challenges and information on living with hydrocephalus or spina bifida, and related issues.
Working together throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland, we strive to overcome challenges and achieve the best for individuals and their families. Our hope now is to develop and build on the work we have done, by enhancing our contact, connection and information sharing levels with the aim of making contact with the hundreds, maybe thousands, of parents, families and people who still do not know about us. We have no budget for this project, but we need to do it. Our staff and volunteers need to have the tools to continue making a difference.
So what do we need? We are looking to hear from anyone who has any spare or unwanted PCs, laptops, monitors, Macs and projector screens, plus any good standard office furniture for use in our support and conference rooms. If there are any companies out there who can afford to donate equipment to us, we would love to hear from them!
We guarantee we’ll make use of them!
What we can offer in return for donations of any unwanted items or pieces of equipment is to send out of press releases to media in your local area, etc., with clear references to your generosity via our ever-growing social network sites (currently 10,000+ followers and friends) and of course FREE publicity on our main website (http://www.asbah.org), which receives between 10,000 and 13,000 visitors a month!
We have already developed an impressive set of online social networks, such as Twitter and Facebook, where visitors share experiences and achievements, support our campaigns, research and access our unique services, simply just visit our website for information, or support our work. But we can do more and we need to do more! That’s why we need this equipment, as communication and data management are an integral part of this aim!
In addition, if any direct selling company is looking for a new or additional cause-related marketing organisation to partner with, then I would be truly delighted to hear from them.
