Edwina Sorkin

Country Manager, Avon, Israel

Edwina Sorkin started her working career as a physiotherapist, before turning to beauty therapy and running her own successful beauty clinic. Six years after starting her clinic and getting married, Edwina then decided to seek new challenges, including starting a family! She was also a consultant for ‘Covermark’ for key hospitals in the north of England, helping people cope with very severe burns and scars.

In 1982 Edwina joined the sales department of Avon Cosmetics the UK. Here she achieved many accolades, including recognition for achieving the level of ‘World Sales Leader’. In 1988 she was promoted to work in Avon’s Overseas Business Development team, where her first assignment was to set up the sales organisation of their Greek distributorship. This was followed by similar responsibilities for Turkey, Morocco, Israel and Egypt. Edwina’s role was then expanded to include Scandinavian countries, and all markets in the Middle East.

In 1997 Edwina assumed responsibility for Saudi Arabia and has worked with this market for 11 years. Over the past 21 years she has developed a unique knowledge of the laws and customs of most Middle East Countries.
This vast experience and in-depth knowledge makes her very well qualified for her new role as Country Manager of Israel, where we wish her every success.

Elio Iori

Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Southeastern Europe region (SEE), GNLD 

GNLD International, the global multilevel marketing company, has recently appointed Elio Iori into this important role. The company has cited his successful and varied experiences and a detailed knowledge of direct selling as the main reasons for his promotion.
Elio said: “I became aware of GNLD at the age of 19, when I was a student in Italy without a clear idea what I could do in life. I was invited to a meeting and heard about the GNLD Opportunity. Then I had felt that certain ‘something’ when your heart starts beating faster and when you get a strange feeling in your stomach, in your head there are millions of ideas… At that moment I realized that this is what I want to do in my life. This is the opportunity I want to be successful in!

“At the beginning I had to struggle with many challenges, the same as everyone else, who starts something new. But with persistence I’ve achieved many goals, beyond my dreams.”

In the past few years Elio had also held a role of a Director of Sales for Southeastern Europe (SEE). Now with the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing GNLD (SEE), he has a new vision and purpose, “Today, in my new extended role, I would like to help everybody who joins GNLD to achieve their own goals,” he said.
