Neways ready for European opportunities
BRIAN Slobodow, President and COO of NEWAYS International, takes pride in his company and team.
Here, he talks briefly to Direct Selling News Europe about the European Market.
As President and COO of Neways international, nothing has given Brian Slobodow as much satisfaction as working with a team of dedicated managers and equally dedicated and passionate Distributors to develop Neways in a burgeoning
European market. “In my homeland, we sing about the American Dream. It’s about time the people of Europe started to shout about the European Way of Life,” he said.
Brian joined Neways International in early 2007. “Since Neways was purchased by Golden Gate Capital in November 2006, Europe has always been one of our primary targets for the expansion of our operation.
Recent investments brought forth the establishment of a European headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. In this operational hub, over 30 employees support a wide range of European markets for day to day support,” he explained.
Led by European Operations Director Ariane Bresse the team has the ability to communicate in 13 languages! Meanwhile, Neways European Marketing Director Ellie Fordham ably plans and executes leading strategies in partnership with Country Managers, such as Shaun Charity, for English speaking markets and Didier Schluchter for German speaking markets. Brian went on to say “The early part of 2010 will see the culmination of the last 12 months’ work by the EU management team, working in close cooperation with the resources at Neways’ International Head Offi ce in Utah, come to fruition.”

He continued, “Our Healthy Homes Mission is to create well-being in a million homes around the world.
The support of our Scientific Advisory Board, featuring eminent scientists from across the globe, has added tremendous credibility to our opportunity. By the start of 2010, Neways will be shouting loud and proud that we now have a product paradigm of more than 3000 ingredients, which, because they are in some way scientifically controversial, we avoid using in our range of over 200 individual products.”
Through the development of new sales tools and exciting new product launches, tabled for launch at the start of February, Neways will soon be offi cially opening in France, one of the traditionally strongest MLM markets. Brian said, “Our Distributors in our established markets, like the UK, Germany and Belgium, are already preparing for the opportunity they will be afforded. The key is to ensure it isn’t at the expense of existing sales, and the development of turnkey operations utilising Web-based tools will mean that they will be earning international commissions without having to set foot outside their home offices.
“In addition, the introduction earlier in 2009 of the Neways Global Sponsoring Programme means that Distributors can now be earning commissions in 28 countries worldwide! It’s one of the advantages of our wonderful industry - Where else can a man or woman, regardless of education, race or background, have all the benefi ts of a global franchise without the expense and the ongoing payments that a traditional franchise demands?”
