Forever Living Products Rewards Success… at a fabulous rally in Spain

Forever Living Products have just experienced their most inspirational and motivating annual European Rally which this year took place in Malaga, Spain. More than 7,000 Distributors attended from as far afield as Iceland and Israel to celebrate their success and the success of the company. The UK had the third largest attendance, with more than 850 Distributors.
Rex Maughan, Chairman of the Board & CEO, announced that in 2008 the company had seen global sales grow by 20 per cent in a recession year and hit the $2.5 billion mark, a growth of more than $400 million. FLP are now in 137 countries with 9.25 million Distributors.
This two-day event, packed with entertainment and recognition, saw Rex giving away more than €7 million in Europe under the company’s Profit Share Programme. This isn’t a discretionary bonus, but a formula, meaning that Distributors get paid their share of the company profit to the nearest penny. The UK’s Number One Distributors, Jayne Leach & John Curtis, were recognised as Number Four in Europe, were rewarded with a cheque for €330,195.72 and stated: “Profit Share is the ultimate ‘jewel in the crown’ of rewards available from the Forever Marketing Plan, and Malaga’s European Rally was living proof: a seemingly endless stream of Distributors from every conceivable background and European location were rewarded
for their teams’ contribution to Forever’s growth and prosperity.”
UK Number Two Distributors, Adam May & Claire Cotton-May, collected a cheque for €81,380.90 and said: “As always, we are astounded at Rex’s generosity. Forever gave us the opportunity to change our lives 15 years ago by helping other people
change theirs.”
UK Number Three Distributor, Bill Wood, collected a cheque for €71,463.92 and said: “What an exciting weekend; it was great to see such a huge number of UK Distributors. It was indeed a privilege to once again receive a cheque from Rex.”
UK Managing Director Bob Parker was proud to pick up an award for the UK, moving up a position to Number Three in Europe. The continual growth in sales is a real reflection of the hard work and commitment from the Distributors. He commented: “Attending any of our International events confirms for me what a unique opportunity our industry provides – the electric atmosphere of positive, motivated and inspired people, all celebrating the success of each other. I truly believe that our industry provides a hope for the future. Malaga was an incredible event, with the biggest group ever attending from the UK and Ireland. I was proud to be part of the team.”
The whole two days and evenings really were a celebration – all the attending Distributors were dressed in their own country’s attire, flying flags, singing, dancing, clapping and cheering. Each country wanted the ‘Spirit Award’ which is awarded to the one exhibiting the most spirit and energy over the two days. Each and every ‘country’ was bursting with spirit, but the award went to Hungary, who celebrated being Number One in Europe.
At the end of the fun-filled two days it was announced that the 2010 European Rally would be in London at Wembley. Forever UK is delighted to be hosting this amazing event and have set a target to have 5,000 UK Distributors in attendance.
