2009 Catalogue Launch highlights continued success

They say that magnets create energy and this certainly proved to be true when Energetix Bingen the German company who market quality magnetic jewellery, held their 2009 Catalogue launch event in Mainz at the end of August.

The Event also marked another successful year, in spite of the recession, with sales up by 25 per cent and growth across all markets, with particular success in Puerto Rico, France and Eastern Europe as well as continued success in their home market of Germany.

Attendance at the launch was also up over last year by over 200, as 1100 Distribution Partners representing 32 different countries from all over the world arrived for the event.

The three action packed days were enthustically received by everyone. Day one, was designed specifically for the top producers of the Star Club and as well as a meeting it included an energetic yet fun filled adventure, rowing in teams down the river Rhine before ending with an evening barbecue in the woods around roaring log fires.

ralf bauerThe main event took place on day two as the entire 1100 attendees converged into the Rhinegoldhalle conference centre on the banks of the river. CEO Roland Förster opened the day welcoming all the attendees and guests and gave an overview of the successful results, he introduced the moderator for the day, male model and famous TV personality Ralf Bauer.

Ralf arrived on stage in spectacular style riding a motorcycle and introducing the theme of James Bond and Casino Royale. The stage was set as a casino with roulette wheel and cocktail bar supported by screen visuals which had a great impact on the audience. The theme was continued throughout the launch of the new catalogue as Ralf, with the help of Janine Eisenhauer, Head of jewellery design and Jana Kiewit, Catalogue Art Director introduced the new magnetic jewellery ranges depicting how each piece is beautifully displayed within the catalogue. As each of the five new categories ‘Classic’, ‘Power’, ‘Nature’, ‘Vario’ and ‘For Men’ of the eight categories displayed in the catalogue, arrived on stage worn by beautiful and handsome models, there was great applause from the audience who really appreciated the sensational designs.

There was also a chance for the attendees to win some of the items as the roulette wheel was spun and the lucky winners received their prizes. It was truly a professional and energetic product launch and concluded with everyone receiving a copy of the new catalogue.

The morning session ended with views on direct selling in Europe from Philippe Dailey and Jacques Cosnefroy from France and Richard Berry from the UK.

Training was the theme for the afternoon session and began with a humorous yet effective presentation by Professor Samy Molcho on how body language can have a major impact on how you sell yourself and your products to other people.

The audience then received an update on the company’s chosen charity, ‘The Hugo Templeman Foundation’ which supports the orphans of Aids in South Africa. Energetix Bingen has already donated €70,000 to this charity. Everyone was thrilled when Hugo Templeman himself appeared on stage to explain how the money is spent and outlined the future plans of the foundation, which include the building of a new camp bearing the Energetix Bingen logo to help rebuild the lives of these young children. Needless to say the Distribution Partners were proud and delighted to be supporting the foundation and were pleased when Roland Förster and fellow director Dr. Klaus-Peter Thiel announced
their continued commitment to future support.

A new website, IT support and marketing tools were also introduced and the afternoon finished on a high note with the announcement of the next incentive trip competition, destination Puerto Rico.

As with all great direct sales events the evening brought glitz and glamour with the Gala Awards Dinner hosted by famous author Nina Ruge, and as recognitions were given and everyone danced the night away, it was obvious that old
friendships had been renewed, new ones made and the team spirit of Energetix Bingen was alive and thriving.

After the full and exciting day before, the weekend concluded with almost 500 guests enjoying a luxurious and relaxing day together on a chartered Rhine cruise in beautiful sunshine. Management, Leaders and Distribution Partners enjoying one another’s company sharing stories and all with a simple common goal, to be back next year celebrating even more success.

Energetix Bingen demonstrated that their magnetism really does create positive energy and they will undoubtedly turn that energy into continued growth.

We wish them well.
