Avon Flame Shining Bright!
The Avon Flame Award, the ultimate accolade for outstanding individual performance, has been presented for the first time in the UK to two high-achieving Sales Leaders. The awards, which usually go to Avon employees only, reflect the growing importance of sales leadership and offers an exciting career path for independent Avon sales Representatives. Presenting the award at the annual Sales Leader Conference, General Manager Scott Schlackman described David Carter and Debbie Davis as ‘down to earth, unassuming and true role models’ not only to their own teams but to others. “They live the Avon Values daily and inspire those around them to be the best they can be,” he added.
David is the first Sales Leader to achieve the new Platinum level which was introduced this year. Three employees were also recognised with the same award: Aileen Egan, Executive Secretary to National Director of Sales Angela Tucker; and Area Sales Managers Eileen Gilliatt and Lynn Trebley, both of whom have embraced Sales Leadership building strong relationships with their teams and sharing ideas and experiences to help them fulfil their dreams. Aileen, renowned for her integrity and ‘old school’ values, was surprised to find herself in the spotlight, and said she was overwhelmed to receive this recognition. “I much prefer to be behind the scenes, and when I think of those who have received the Flame Award over the years I am humbled to be in such good company,” she said.
